Candle Safety

Always read the Safety Label on the base of each candle.

Failure to follow safety instructions may result in fire, injury or smoke damage. Never burn your candle when 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom of the glass candle jar. Burn your candle for only three hours at a time, extinguish, let wax cool, trim wick to 1 cm & relight. Avoid burning in draughtyareas, near open windows or doorways, as a change in temperature may cause the glass jar to crack or shatter. Never leave a burning candle unattended & always burn on a stable flat surface. Keep away from curtains, flammable objects, children & pets.

Wick Sparks - One common reason for this is that the wick may contain impurities or leftover debris from previous burns, which can ignite and produce a spark. Another possibility is that the wick may be too long, causing it to produce excess carbon buildup that can ignite and create a spark. To prevent this we recommend trimming your wick with a wick trimmer before every burn.
